About Our Messaging Program

Port City Sheds offers a text message program so customers can receive quotes, delivery updates, appointment reminders, and customer service replies about their shed order or inquiry. By providing your mobile number, you agree to receive SMS messages from Port City Sheds related to your purchase, delivery, or request for information.

How You Consent to Receive Messages

End users may opt in to receive SMS messages from Port City Sheds in any of the following ways:

• Website forms: By submitting our online quote request, contact, or order form at portcitysheds.com and checking the box that reads: “I agree to receive SMS messages from Port City Sheds about my quote, order, and delivery. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.” The checkbox is unchecked by default and must be affirmatively selected.
• In person or by phone: When a customer requests a quote or places an order with a Port City Sheds representative, they may verbally provide their mobile number and give explicit consent to receive SMS updates. Consent is logged in our customer record system with the date, time, and method of opt-in.
• Texting our keyword: A customer may text the keyword JOIN to our business number to begin receiving messages.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase. Mobile information will never be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Message Frequency & Rates

Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us — typically 2–6 messages per order or inquiry. Message and data rates may apply. Please contact your wireless carrier for details on your plan.

Port City Sheds collects only the information needed to fulfill your request — your name, mobile number, address, and details about your shed order or inquiry. We use this information solely to communicate with you about your quote, order, delivery, or service request.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with any third party for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with our SMS service provider (Twilio) strictly for the purpose of delivering messages on our behalf, and with delivery contractors strictly for fulfilling your order.
